Conditions| Discover Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatments

Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists work from a signs and symptoms basis which assists us in determining a differential diagnosis from a Chinese medicine perspective, these are called "Patterns of Disharmony". As no clients presentation is the same, it makes sense that your treatment may not be the same as a someone you know, and how many visits/dosage is also dependent on this individual presentation.

Our Chinese Medicine Diagnosis may sound strange to you for example: Symptom or Diagnosis you present with caused by Qi stagnation, Qi Deficiency, or Wind Cold invasion, or Hot Damp Bi Syndrome, all the while we are still working from a Physiological perspective.

As Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners with AHPRA, in order to present you with a list of Conditions in advertising, any registered practitioner must reference this condition by using a systematic review. There is research in Cochrane which you can search using Acupuncture and…….if you wish to look further into what you may be interested in. For me to list and keep you updated takes my time away from a client. I get so caught up on the journey it can lead me down the rabbit hole of research! It generally takes me awhile to resurface, once you get started it becomes so interesting, you can’t help but follow the trail.

I prefer to focus on my presenting client’s care, researching cases individually. This keeps me current, along with over 3000 years of Acupuncture History, Traditional Chinese Medicine observational skills, research, and my clinical experience. A holistic approach to the physiological effects of the insertion of fine needles.

My areas of interest are

  • Women’s health, PCOS, PCO, Endometriosis, painful periods, fertility, IVF, pregnancy support

  • Pain with Acute (just happened) or Chronic (have had for a while) Sports Injury

  • Pain (any kind) Muscle soreness or Injury,

  • Emotional health /Anxiety/Stress

  • Digestive issues and Chinese Food therapy

  • Seasonal Ailments that may come upon us

However, this does not limit the signs or symptoms you present to me with, even if not listed above, simple or complex. It is part of why I love my job, the variety and the differences each person presents with, you are unique so the challenge is accepted!!
